TAP2SOSTM, the IoT/M2M bracelet for secure storing and retrieving of medical data through Blockchain technology, has been upgraded to run on LTO Network. LTO Network is optimized for lightweight transactions, offering increased performance and smooth operation to all Blockchain applications that run on it.
LTO Network utilizes anchoring techniques which are cost-effective and easy to implement, while providing increased integrity and enhanced transparency. The data is never stored on the blockchain. Instead it is hashed before anchoring and only the hash is stored on-chain. This, makes all involved data erasable on demand at any given moment, rendering TAP2SOSTM completely GDPR compliant.
As of 30/June/2020, a team of stakeholders from quite different verticals, work objectives and geographical origins gave birth to a brilliant initiative of a quite pioneering vision: Space Waste management via Blockchain Technology.
The project aims to counter the problem of space debris. More than 20.000 objects larger than 3 inches and over 128 million of smaller size, are populating several orbits around Earth. Most of them pose a great risk since they contain toxic and hazardous materials.
By using Blockchain technology, space waste management will be effectively conducted by accurately mapping out floating debris. Blockchain technology is selected as a major pillar of this pioneering work because it presents significant potential for secure data sharing and improving the robustness of data collection of space debris and space waste management among the numerous projects and different stakeholders.
In the light of the above several official letters are sent today to all major Space Agencies (NASA, ESA, UKSA, CNSA, USA, JAXA, ISRO, and Roscosmos etc.) around the globe to ask for support and collaboration in this project.
The Municipality of Argos-Mycenae became the first Municipality to install Blockchain technology.
In the context of the integration of new technologies and the modernization of its administrative structures, the Municipality of Argos-Mycenae became the first Municipality of Greece to implement the Blockchain technology in its services.
The specific application created and implemented by Blockchain 2050 BV, a member of ARATOS Group, is expected to lead to a series of innovative and efficient services to citizens, while ensuring the inviolability of a series of documents issued and certified by municipal services. In addition, time-consuming and costly procedures for certifying and uniqueness of a document are avoided, as it is an interactive platform for electronic signature and document authentication with Blockchain technology.
Thus, the need to provide services that are more reliable, faster, safer and with the least possible participation of the citizen and the public service is effectively covered, while reducing the possibility of errors to the minimum possible level.
In the relevant presentation that took place on June 29 at the headquarters of the services of the Municipality of Argos-Mycenae, specialized scientific staff of the ARATOS Group delivered the software, while presenting to the officials the positive functions of the Blockchain application for both citizens and employees public services.
